The artist
Born in Málaga in 1984, Elena has painted the Mediterranean coast for over fifteen years, moving between the transparency of watercolour and the density of acrylic.
Her work explores memory, light and the passage of time — landscapes stripped down to matter and colour. She paints on commission from her studio in the historic centre of Málaga.
